Agreed. You have to learn basic things in school, to be able later to learn further. Only solution for him left is to go to course, but I think its too expensive, but I dont really know his financial status.

Anyway, even if he had not learnt english in school, he had to learn how to behave nicely. There is no excuses for that part.
